VORTEXc

Introduction

The VORTEXc precompiler for C lets you access multiple relational database management systems from a single application. In addition, your C applications can benefit from performance- enhancing components like VORTEXaccelerator.

The object version of the application works with multiple databases if the SQL conforms to the target database's SQL. VORTEX produces an exception report showing where the SQL is not ANSI compliant. Of course, you never need to modify the application if it is run against the original database.

Compatibility

ANSI standard C using embedded SQL.
